They are putting Lorie on dialysis to remove toxins from her system since her kidneys are not functioning properly. They have also put her on a "cooling bed" to try and get her temperature down. As the other doctors come in and I hear more I will keep you updated. That's all I know for now.
We do love Lorie and when I say "we" I mean everyone who has ever met Lorie. Lorie is our mother, our wife, our daughter and for the majority of us, our friend. She has touched us all in such positive ways, so many times, it's too numerous to recall. A few days after Chistmas 2005, Lorie had to have emergency surgery, and now, days later, she is still unconsious. - Brett
