Some Good News

Some good news. The neurologist said Lorie does have slight damage to her brain but he believes it's reversible! I did find out that when she was on the operating table that she was technically dead for 15 minutes. That's not good. She had a bad episode while I was there, which had good and bad results. They cleaned her mouth and it made her very irritated. She bit down on the ventilator tube so she couldn't get air in or out. She turned blue and they had to really work with her. They sedated her and got her to relax her jaw. They have her in restraints and the good news was that she moved her hands and arms. We all know how feisty she can be :) The doctor said she "can" hear when we talk to her so if you visit her please continue talking to her. She is having a CT scan at 2:00 and the neurologist will give us another report between 4:00-5:00 so I will not be able to update you until tomorrow. Thanks, and keep on praying!
