Food for the family past today PLEASE READ

FYI, all of Lorie's family except her sister, husband, their two kids, and her mom and dad went home this morning. Several of them had to get back to work. The rest of the family, including Lorie's husband and the two children, will be leaving in the morning for El Paso. That is if the baby is out of the hospital. As soon as I have an update on her condition I will let you know.

So, we do not need any food beyond today which has already been taken care of. Thank you all so much for the food and for the donation of items and money yesterday. My car was packed! The family was overwhelmed when I took them to the house. They said to tell you all thank you so much for everything you've done for them, and for what you did for Lorie.

I am deployed to Iraq and just found out about Lorie, I just want to tell Aurelio and the girls that even though Lorie will be missed, she left behind so many momories of her kindess it is as if she is still with us. And if one day the girls ask about her mommy, everyone who had contact with her will say in a loud voice that she was a kind soul and a gentle spirit who made the world around her better by just being there. Her love for God and her kindness can assure us of the fact that one day we will see her again sitting at the feet of the Saviour.

God Bless and if you ever need anything from us we are at your disposal

Aurelio, Faith & Hannah,
Today was the Memorial for Loie. I enjoyed your singing and playing your guitar Aurelio. I heard Lorie talking about it often and now I know why. You must keep praising God as you did. Lorie certainly would want you to.
Lorie sat close by me at work for several years. Almost everyday she would ask me for a hug. They were the best hugs, so warm and giving and sincere. I will rember them forever.
Faith you look so much your mother. I pray that you grow up with that same caring for others that your mother had. I only got to see Hannah once but oh so sweet. I know your mommy loved you both so much. I remember her asking how she could love two as much as just one. I don't believe she had a problem once you were here Hannah. God Bless all of you as you go through the years ahead. Lean on your friends and family and your Lord God Almighty. Marlys

Aurelio,
We all knew how much Lorie loved you and how much she gave to you, but today at the service I saw why she loved you so much. Everything Lorie gave to you was given back to her ten fold. Your beautiful voice and the love that flowed from your finger tips as you played the guitar echoed the love you two had for each other and your Lord. I know you will find peace in your faith and music.

We loved Lorie and we will miss her terribly and I am sure we'll speak of her often. Peace be with you and your beautiful two reflections of Lorie.

Dear family,

My name is Eleanor Lock and I'm the mother of one of
Lorie's friends, Valerie Terrell. Valerie spoke so lovingly and warmly
about Lorie. Actually it was Lorie who encouraged Valerie to have the gastric bypass surgery that changed Valerie's life so dramatically for the good! I remember thinking at the time Valerie told me that Lorie had talked to her about the surgery that God surely must have brought Lorie into Valerie's life to help her! She spoke
about her sweet little baby, Faith with the 'rosebud'
lips, and what a miracle that Faith was! I know that Lori was a wonderful
friend to all, and
she was an angel sent to our daughter to help her. I know Lori will be missed, and that she is loved by
all for all eternity. What a comfort to know that she is safe in the arms of Jesus.

Love and prayers,

Eleanor Lock

Aurelio, Faitie and Hannah;
I have been trying so hard to come up with something great and profound to say to you all. But I can't put my feelings into words. I often wondered how Lorie could always be so happy and caring no matter what.. Aurelio, after hearing your sweet and caring words and your beatiful voice......I finally got it. It was "LOVE," that is what that bright light was around her at all times. Faithie and Hannah, all I can say is that if I can be 1/2 the mommie yours was or even 1/2 the caring person she was to us all, I will consider myself very lucky. To have known Lorie has truly changed my life and she will be with me each and every day. (Thank you for sharing her with me!)
Love you all. Shannon

My heartfelt condolences to Lorie's family. To Lories friends, You were all Very Blessed to have known Lorie, for as long as you did, even if it was just for a short time. I didn't know Lorie, but it sounds like everyone that knew Lorie loved her, and I can see why by everyones comments about her. SOME PEOPLE COME INTO OUR LIVES AND QUICKLY GO. SOME STAY FOR AWHILE LEAVING FOOTPRINTS ON OUR HEARTS...AND WE ARE FOREVER CHANGED. Lorie, I didn't know you, but You have really touched my Heart forever, if only we all could give the kind of Love, Caring and Compassion that Lorie gave, then we would All be living like God wants us to.
