I do not have details on the funeral yet. As soon as I do we will post them for you. I do know that they plan to take Lorie back to Anthony, NM to be buried. There will be a church service here in Tulsa prior to taking her back.
I worked at Thrify for 3 1/2 years almost 4 years ago. We had a friendship with one thing in common, our Christian values. I haven't had any contact with Lorie since, but I do remember her love the for Lord, her family and for the people she worked with. She will defintely be missed, however, knowing that she is with the Lord is so comforting. She's in a much better place than you and me.
When I met you, You had that infectious smile that is truely your trademark. You were always so polite and loving no matter who you were talking to. We love you and will miss you so much - The day you left you left a void in everyone's heart that you ever knew. It is just a very sad situation that those beautiful girls will never get to meet and grow up with their mother. Faith - You are such a momma's girl, I remember trying to hold you at your house and you would have nothing to do with anyone except mommy unless daddy was around too. You my dear are a spitting image of your mother and when you get older I hope that this website will help you get to know what kind of person she was - She was on cloud 9 when she found out you were on your way. She wanted you so much and when you came into this world you couldn't have been born to a better set of parents. Hannah - WOW - Joy #2 came along a year later, And yet again she was on cloud 9 with another beautiful little girl, but sadly you didn't have much time with her or she with you. She also couldn't of been happier with the life that she and Ariellio had built for themselves - They were a match made in heaven and they will meet up again someday. Carmen is a sister that loved Lorie with all she had and after all that I saw at the hospital it makes me want to be a better sister in case that ever happens in my family, I would want to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they know that they are loved like Lorie did. God Bless those babies, her husband and her entire family and her family of friends. WE WILL MISS YOU LORIE - WE WILL ALL DO WHAT WE CAN FOR YOUR FAMILY!
Aurelio, I know times are hard. But please remember all of the aunts, grandmas etc.. Faithy and Hannah have up here, don't ever hesitate to call on any of us for a helping hand or just a shoulder. We love you all very much and hope to see you all very often. You will all be in our prayers!! Shannon 688-8652/742-1922
I've known Lorie since we were about 6 or 7 years old....we lived on the same street and grew up together. Lorie, Carmen and I were always riding our bikes together---I can always remember Lorie's hearty laugh because Carmen and I would do so many dumb things to make her laugh. It's been many years since I last saw Lorie...until now...seeing her picture on this website....I can't believe she's gone. But reading all the beautiful things everyone's been writing reminds me of the Lorie I grew up with..she didn't change....she's still very special and very loving. My sincerest condolences go out to her family....especially those little girls...Faith and Hannah, your mommy was truly a special person who touched many people with that great smile of hers and her love for everyone else. Who would ever know that someone from a small town like Anthony NM...had such a BIG heart! Lorie, you are an angel looking down at us now...I am so lucky to have ever known you and had you as a childhood friend that will remain in my heart forever!
I know you would be comforting all of us right now if you were here. But you are in a far better place. You are with the Alpha & the Omega, The Prince of Peace, The Maker of Heaven & Earth, our Almighty Abba Father. I praise Him for your short life. I know He is well pleased with your service on earth. You gave us an example to live by & we will all remember the sweet things you said; advice you gave to each of us (your co-workers). We will miss you every day but we will speak of you often & fondly. We will eagerly await a reunion with you, our Sister in Christ. Build a home for me -- I'll be there before you know it!
Our friendship was like David and Johnathon. Lorie was Debbie's little sister.
Remember the night they were both in the bathroom trying to use some kind of painless hair remover on each other? We heard Lorie scream and I told you someone's walking out with no eye brows. You said or maybe bald.
Barbara called us Wedensday and I haven't slep't since. I write this through tears but I'm so happy for sweet Lorie. She has earned many crowns of glory and is seated at the right of the Lord. Jesus has wiped away all her tears Buddy! Take comfort in that.
We have both been tested big time in the last five years. We both had to grow up in a lot of respects. I had many deep personal issues to deal with. You are truely an overcomer my friend. You found that calling and ran with it. My spirit was in turmoil and I needed more help. I'm so much better now. Not a day goes by I don't think bout you and Lorie and laugh ot loud about something we did.
Wherever God takes you and the girls Aurelio, Please stay close with us. Deb and I very much would like to take care of Faithie and Hannah if you need us. I'm here for you Buddy. I'm liftng you up. Come visit with us. We love you, Lorie and the girls so very much!!

We do love Lorie and when I say "we" I mean everyone who has ever met Lorie. Lorie is our mother, our wife, our daughter and for the majority of us, our friend. She has touched us all in such positive ways, so many times, it's too numerous to recall. A few days after Chistmas 2005, Lorie had to have emergency surgery, and now, days later, she is still unconsious. - Brett

I just want to thank Lorie's family for rasing such a beautiful and wonderful person.
Aureliio, you will never know how much she loved you. Every day she said "I love my husband, he is so good to me." She was so proud of you.
Faithie and Hannah, your mommy wanted to have you so much. I can't tell you how much she loved you.
Lorie, Lorie, Lorie!!!
