A New Infection

I just spoke with Lorie's sister Carmen. Lorie's white blood cell count is elevated which signals an infection. They are moving the port in her neck that goes directly into an artery to her arm as they feel the infection might be coming from there since it's been in for a week. Also, the baby has a respiratory infection and has to have breathing treatments every 6 hours due to the wheezing in her little lungs.
