Not much change in the EEG
Lorie's vital signs are really good and her major organs are beginning to function. However, the neurologist came in this morning and told Lorie's sister, Carmen, that he's not very optimistic at this point about her brain and her waking up. I don't know exactly what that means but that's what he said. He said there wasn't much change from the EEG they did yesterday and the one done a few days earlier. He said he won't do another CT scan until she shows some signs of waking up. We thought when she squeezed Carmen's hand yesterday that she was showing signs of waking up. He said that was an involuntary movement and wasn't a sign she's waking up. She is opening and closing her eyes on her own though so we're praying that's a good sign. Thank you so much to those that have visited her. Thanks to all of you who have prayed and are continuing to pray for her. Right now that's the best medicine "we" can give her. Her family really appreciates it so much.
Also, her new baby Hannah is sick. Lorie's husband will be taking her to the doctor today so if you could say a prayer for her too that would be great.
If I hear anything more today I'll post another update. If not, I'll post one when I get in tomorrow morning.

Hi Lorie! Remember me, Kim Berrey? Sheila let me know about your situation and you are definately in my prayers! I know you're there and can hear and feel your friends and family around you. Be strong and I pray God gives you the strength to come back. There are so many that need you - especially your babies. The power of prayer is a wondeful thing and I will be doing lots of it for you.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm praying, and I know the Lord will bring a complete and total recovery. What the enemy means for evil will turn around as a testimony to the faithfulness and goodness of God. You are a child of the King of Kings, and by His stripes you WERE healed...it's already done! Wake up soon, your light is needed. We love you and are looking forward to seeing your beautiful smile again soon.
