Tonights Update
I went to the hospital to visit with the family tonight. When I got there Lorie was already in her room but I couldn't see her so I went and sat with Yvonne and Aurelio.
The surgeon said that Lorie made it through surgery with flying colors. Her blood pressure and everything stayed consistent and stable. They said a drain tube in her side had irritated a blood vessel and caused it to rupture. While in there they took the opportunity to look at their previous work. They said she had a little bit of fluid in her (which was to be expected) and that her intestine work looked beautiful and her liver looked good as well.
So our tenacious Lorena has made it thru another milestone surgery. WOOT!!!! Yvonne called from the hospital and said she got to see her for a minute tonight and that she looked good. Her color is good etc. She will have a new update for you in the morning.
